Living hand-to-mouse in NYC
While working as a media planner in my early twenties, I started creating party flyers on PowerPoint for community events; as I progressed in my career, moving into account management, I had my first taste of the creative side of advertising and realized where my true strengths and interests lie. What originally started as a couple of continuing-ed courses at SVA ultimately led to me down south to attend VCU’s Brandcenter, where my creative career was born.
Since then, I’ve moved back to my home state and now fill my days with creative pursuits—both as an art director and artist. As a creative individual, I’m all about finding the right insight and turning it into an idea that resonates. I love seeing an idea come to life, from a seedling of an idea kicked around in the office between two partners into a collaborative, big budget production on the other side of the country.
I’ve been fortunate to work on projects around the world and look forward to the next opportunity—whether it’s a one-off social initiative, an ad campaign, or spearheading an entire brand launch. I’m always ready for the next creative challenge.
